How to report an error
Email us with the page address, a description of what is wrong, and any source you can share that supports the correction. If the issue is a safety risk, say so clearly so we can prioritise it.
What we do
- Confirm the error against a reliable source.
- Correct the guide as quickly as we reasonably can, and sooner if there is a safety risk.
- Add a dated note when the change is substantive, so returning readers can see what changed.
- Remove or rewrite claims we cannot verify.
What we do not do
- We do not silently change facts to avoid acknowledging a mistake.
- We do not remove a guide simply because a business disagrees with it, where the advice is accurate.
- We do not add commercial links as a condition of a correction.
